These are not classical rugs, they are referred to as dhurries in local language and therefore addressed as dhurrie rugs at various places on the website.

All of our products are handmade, and the colors are also dyed. Some of the products use vegetable dyes. Most products are machine washable, but care must be taken for kilims. They might release colors as they contain vegetable and other color dyes.

Rugs are handmade, and therefore, they are not as rigid as machine-made carpets. Therefore, do not drag furniture on them or pull them.

Unlike machine-made carpets, each handmade rug is unique, showcasing the artisan's dedication and creativity. The process involves tying individual knots by hand, which can result in slight imperfections and variations. These imperfections, however, add to the charm and character of the carpet, making each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art.

While they may not have the uniformity of machine-made carpets, their uniqueness and craftsmanship make them highly valued and cherished.
